The Master’s Degree Program:
A Master of Natural Science in Middle School (STEM)
A content-focused 5 semester sustainability-themed master’s degree program for elementary educators seeking preparation to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects in middle school—developing a new educational model for an entirely new community to help address the shortage of highly qualified STEM educators in Arizona’s middle schools. Each teacher accepted to the program receives an $800/semester stipend for each of the 5 semesters of the program that they are enrolled in 2 classes.
